1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let sites remember things — your preferences, whether you've visited before, how you moved through the site. They cannot run code or carry viruses.
This policy covers cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage, pixels) used on revenode.co.uk.

These are required for the website to function. They do not collect personal data for marketing and cannot be turned off.

Analytics (consent required)
These help us understand which pages are useful and where visitors drop off. We use this data to improve the site — nothing else. They are only set after you accept analytics cookies.

We use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled. We do not use Google Signals and have disabled advertising features. Data is processed under a Data Processing Agreement with Google.
Marketing / advertising
We do not currently use advertising or retargeting cookies on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting any.
3. Your consent
When you first visit the site, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. You can:
- Accept all — strictly necessary + analytics cookies are set.
- Reject optional — only strictly necessary cookies are set.
- Change your mind — click "Cookie settings" in the footer at any time.
Your preference is stored for 12 months. We will ask again after that, or sooner if our cookie use changes.
4. Browser controls
You can also manage cookies directly in your browser. Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the website.
For opting out of Google Analytics specifically across any website, use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Third-party tools and embeds
If the site embeds third-party tools (e.g. a Calendly booking widget), those providers may set their own cookies when you interact with them. We have no control over those cookies — refer to the relevant provider's policy:

Strictly necessary cookies are used under our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website. No consent is required for these.
Analytics cookies are used on the basis of your consent, in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time and it will take effect immediately.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our cookie use changes. The "Last updated" date at the top is always current. Significant changes (e.g. adding advertising cookies) will be flagged in the banner and require fresh consent.
